Jetstar's New Direct Flights from Singapore to Perth: A Game Changer for Travelers
Jetstar is set to revolutionize travel between Singapore and Perth with the launch of direct flights starting August 2024. Offering up to six weekly flights, this new route aims to cater to the growing demand for international travel. Jetstar is marking this milestone with a "Hello Perth" sale, featuring one-way fares starting from just S$116. The sale begins on December 19 and concludes on December 22, unless sold out earlier.
The airline is also extending its reach with sale fares from Bangkok to Perth starting at 3,935 baht (S$148) and from Phuket to Perth starting at 4,143 baht. These flights will be operated using the Airbus A321neo LRs, known for their quietness and fuel efficiency, with four of these new aircraft based at Perth Airport.
Jetstar is also ramping up its service to Melbourne, with more direct return flights from Singapore, Phuket, and Bangkok starting from June 2024. The Singapore to Melbourne route will increase to daily return flights. Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully highlighted Perth's popularity among international tourists, renowned for its beaches, vineyards, and natural wonders, while Melbourne is celebrated for its sports, art, and coffee culture.
This expansion by Jetstar not only enhances connectivity but also offers travelers more choices and affordable options for exploring these vibrant cities.
