Looking for music lessons in Sengkang? Aureus Academy at Compass One offers one-to-one music education for children and young learners, with programmes in piano, violin, guitar, drums, vocals and early-years musical exploration. Its location beside Sengkang MRT makes it a convenient option for families fitting lessons around school, work and other activities.

The academy's current approach, Aureus Interactive, combines individual teaching with activities and progress milestones intended to keep students engaged. Lessons are tailored to a student's age, confidence, experience and goals, so beginners can start without prior music training while experienced learners can continue developing their technique.

Explore Music Lessons at Aureus Academy

Aureus Academy offers a selection of instrument programmes designed to develop practical playing skills alongside music reading, listening and expression. Families can explore piano, violin, guitar, drums and vocal lessons, while younger children may be suited to Musical Adventure lessons that introduce musical ideas through age-appropriate activities.

Piano, Violin and Guitar Lessons

Piano is a popular starting point for learning rhythm, melody and music notation. Violin lessons introduce posture, bow control, intonation and listening, while guitar lessons help students develop chords, coordination and musical phrasing. The best starting instrument usually depends on the child's interest and readiness. A trial lesson gives the student an opportunity to meet a teacher and experience the learning environment before committing to a programme.

Drums, Singing and Early Music Exploration

For children drawn to rhythm and performance, drum lessons focus on coordination, timing and technique. Vocal lessons can build pitch, breathing, expression and confidence. Younger learners who are still exploring their interests can ask the team whether Musical Adventure is an appropriate introduction before choosing a main instrument.

The academy primarily offers personalised one-to-one lessons. Instrument, teacher and timetable availability can vary by studio, so check with Compass One before booking if you have a specific instrument or preferred time in mind.

Current Offers: Free Trial Lessons and Lesson Packages

Aureus Academy's website invites new students to book a free trial lesson. A trial allows a child to meet a teacher, explore an instrument and discuss a suitable learning pathway before enrolling. Some current instrument-specific campaigns also advertise complimentary 30-minute singing or drum trial lessons valued at S$69 for ages four and above, with additional discounts for eligible trial attendees. Campaign details may differ by instrument and booking page, so confirm eligibility with the academy.

The current official lesson-package page lists four lessons per month at these rates:

The listed packages include lesson books and materials, access to the Aureus Progress Portal, backing tracks and achievement rewards. Confirm the latest fees, terms and any trial-attendee discounts before enrolling, as offers may be conditional and prices can change.

Pro tip: Book a trial before selecting a monthly package. Ask the team which lesson length suits your child's age and focus, what happens if a lesson needs to be rescheduled, and whether any current promotional discount applies to the Compass One branch.

Start with the official free trial booking page, then compare the current lesson packages and prices. Instrument-specific offers are also published on the official singing lessons page and drum lessons page.

Events and Open Houses

Aureus Academy's official events page lists family-friendly roadshows and open-house activities, which can include balloon craft, colouring, interactive stations and music-related activities. The Compass One dates shown for October 3-4 and October 24-25, 2026, have already passed as of October 26, 2026. No later Compass One-specific event date was confirmed on the page at the time of research.

The schedule changes by location. For updated dates and activities, check the official Aureus Academy events calendar or contact the Compass One studio. Do not assume an event advertised at another mall is taking place at Compass One.

Official Website, Social Media and Online Stores

The official website is the main channel for lesson information, pricing, trial bookings and branch contacts. Aureus also maintains public social profiles for updates and student highlights. As the academy provides lessons rather than conventional retail goods, no official Shopee Mall, Lazada LazMall, TikTok Shop or Amazon Brand Store was confirmed during research; lesson enrolment and trial bookings are handled through the academy's own website.
